UK Pine 18mm Standard Stretcher Bars are 18mm deep & 44mm wide & are available in boxes of 40 individual bars for sizes under 40” and packs of 30 bars for 40” and over, in increments of 2”.

Made in the UK; these bars are an excellent product which slot simply together & add a quality finish to your canvas prints or paintings. UK Pine 18mm bars will also fit with our 18mm Standard bars from China, please email if you would like to see images of the resulting frames.

The wood used to make our UK Pine 18mm Standard Stretcher Bars is finger-jointed for strength and is carefully selected to ensure the bars are knot-free, which helps to ensure that they are straight & lie flat. Consequently these bars are 100% guaranteed to make strong & sturdy frames to stretch your canvases over*.

Buy two boxes of UK Pine 18mm Standard Stretcher Bars & make up 15 frames. If you get two boxes of the same length bar you can make square frames, or buy one box to make 7 frames, & if you get a box each of two different dimensions you can make rectangular frames. E.g., one box of 42” bars & one box of 46” bars will make 15 42” x 46” frames. If you want to produce large frames, over 30” for example, you may wish to use cross bars.

Wedges are NOT included & are sold separately. This is in an effort to keep the overall cost of the bars down as well as ensuring you only receive the wedges you will use, as we are aware that they aren’t always needed.
